Plan B Disaster Recovery has been cited as a ‘strong performer’ by a leading independent research firm in their latest Disaster-Recovery-As-A-Service research report. Plan B was among the selected companies that Forrester invited to participate in its 2017 Forrester Wave evaluation, The Forrester Wave: Disaster-Recovery-As-A-Service Providers, Q2 2017.
In this evaluation, Plan B achieved top possible scores of 5/5 for the Revenue Growth and Customer Feedback criteria, which includes the subcriteria of implementation, account management and support. Director of Plan B, Ian Daly comments “customer service and experience has always been of paramount importance to Plan B. We have achieved 100% customer satisfaction in every one of our annual surveys, which we carry out as part of our ISO27001 accreditation. To achieve the highest possible scores for these areas from an independent research firm such as Forrester is a big achievement for us.”
The research evaluated the 10 most significant vendors in the DRaaS providers market against 26 criteria, grouped into 3 high level buckets – current offering, strategy and market presence. Plan B was noted for taking “full responsibility for recovering a customer’s infrastructure to the application level” and accommodating “specific or bespoke customer requirements, including the provisioning of dedicated infrastructure.”
Daly comments “we’re delighted to be invited to participate in this evaluation. We believe that to be seen as one of the most significant 10 vendors in the DRaaS provider’s market is a testament in itself to all our efforts to remain on top of our game. We’ve made a number of strategical improvements to our service portfolio over the past 12 months. We feel this enables us to offer customers a wider choice of DR products, coupled with the benefit of choosing service options at individual server level. Customers can now mix and match to gain the best solution for their needs, and have Plan B experts always on hand.”
