A power outage by energy supplier SSE on the 15 March has left companies without their IT systems for a number of hours. Companies in the PO15 and the PO16 postcode areas have been affected, with some losing access to their entire IT estate until power resumed. Plan B Disaster Recovery was helping its customers in the locality to regain access to their IT systems through temporary use of a virtual standby system which is already tested and ready to use in such an event. We were informed that the problem was resolved late last night.
