One interesting thing I noticed today is that “Backup”  has increased significantly in popularity as a topic in books according to Google, demonstrated in the graph below. This proves that the decade or more of hard work educating people on the need for a backup solution has paid dividends and it is now an accepted requirement to any business. “Disaster Recovery” and “Business Continuity” are starting to show an increase in trend and are likely to grow with increasing awareness. Hopefully they will soon become a natural part of our business culture – we are yet to see.
